In the Summer of 2010 I was given the incredible opportunity to be an intern at CNBC in New York City. In addition to falling in love with NBC, I feel in love with the city as a whole. This blog was intended to simply document the experiences of that summer. But as fate would have it, I pursued the opportunity to be an NBC Page, and that opportunity led me back to the Big City, which fortunately breathed new life into this site. So enjoy. Don’t take anything I say here to seriously, because in reality, I’m just excited to be able to have the experience.

-Kenneth… I mean, Matt

  1. Hey Matt,

I’ve been reading through your blog that I found on a google search about NBC pages.
I’m kind-of bummed that you stopped posting in the summer as I was getting really into it.
I am graduating college in a few months and am more than curious about the program myself.
I would really appreciate anything you could share with me, whenever you get a chance!
Shoot me an e-mail if can find the time.

Thanks a lot and I hope to see some updates (Just favorited [is that a word?] your blog)

    • Aaron,
I’m glad you’ve enjoyed following along and the good news I have is that I intend to start posting again (see today’s for the updates), but feel free to post any questions on here, and if there’s anything I could potentially help out with, within the limits of what I’m allowed to talk about, I certainly will.

      Thanks again

  2. what kind of experience did you have before you got the internship, I want to apply but I have nothing, I do not know where to work?
